Nothing says welcome to Paris more than witnessing a robbery 10 minuetes after entering the city. Bonjour everyone! The Nebraskans have arrived in Paris. This city has been my dream vacation ever since I was a little elementary schooler. My room has pictures upon pictures of the different monuments that make Paris, well Paris. Every night I fall asleep looking at the Arch de Triumph and now I can't believe the real thing is right in front of me. The feeling is just too surreal. Theres shopping upon shopping upon shopping to be done here. Too much for just one day. From the praised names such as Louis Vuitton and Tiffany to small painting shops there really is something for everyone. The City of Paris is so rich in culture. On every street you can easily discover restaurants from many different backgrounds.(Not to mention all the crêpes that are a little too acessable as well.) I'm not sure I ate anything that tasted bad here. All of the carbs, croissants and gelato may not have been the healthiest but it sure was the tastiest. Being able to see the Effiel tower was incredible. It's so much bigger than the painting on my wall presented it to be. I don't care what the French say, I don't think it's an ugly lamppost. Paris was stunningly beautiful. I really understand why they call it the city of love. And not just because of the obnoxious amounts of PDA and wine around the city but the views, the smells, and the atmosphere are simply indescribable. Yet again, here are some pictures from my few days in Paris.
